Shriram School holds Annual prize distribution ceremony

JAMMU, Nov 23: The Shri Ram Universal School hosted its much awaited Annual celebration for Forms 3 to 12 with grandeur, embracing the theme “Rang aur Umang: Satat Vikas ki Kahani Shri Ki Zubani”.
The event was graced by Padma Shri awardee and founder of Natrang, Balwant Thakur, as the chief guest and Twinkle Suri (Principal, GDC Samba) as the guest of honour. The School’s Chairman Sanjeev Mahajan and Director Rajni Gupta were also present.
Principal, Sonika Mahajan presented the School’s Annual Report, highlighting its remarkable accomplishments in academics, co-curricular activities, and community-building initiatives.
The highlight of the celebration was a spectacular dance drama which beautifully depicted India’s journey through the pre-independence, independence, and post-independence eras. The performances reflected the spirit of patriotism and showcased the essence of resilience, progress, and sustainable development through an engaging blend of music, dance and storytelling, the students conveyed the importance of harmony between progress and environmental preservation.
In addition to the cultural presentations, the School also celebrated the academic excellence of its students namely Mrinalini Sambyal, Chaitanya Singh Slathia and Lalit Indu for the session 2022-2023 and Aayan Sambyal, Vedika Singh and Vrinda gor the session 2023-2024, with certificates and cash prizes worth Rs 11000, Rs 6000 and Rs 3000 respectively, recognizing their hard work, dedication, and pursuit of excellence.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Headmistress, Shivani Vaid.
