Shubam Khajuria in U-19 World Cup probables

JAMMU, Dec 27: Talent, it is said, is what you possess and genius is what possesses you. When you have the talent, you can prove yourself at any stage and at any level. And, when you are genius like J&K’s young cricketer Shubam Khajuria, then you are simply unstoppable.
This was expressed by a group of former Ranji trophy cricketers while talking to EXCELSIOR and feeling ecstatic over the inclusion of promising opener, Shubam Khajuria in 30-member India Under-19 World Cup probables.
For his consistent performance, Jammu and Kashmir’s talented young batsman, Shubam has been picked by the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCIs) National selectors in the list of 30 probables selected for India Camp to be held in the month of January, prior to the commencement of Under-19 World Cup in February, 2013.
Shubam, received the message from BCCI with regard to his selection today and he communicated it to his friends and well wishers.
While talking to EXCELSIOR, Shubam in a blissful mood said that the selection in Under-19 World Cup probables was simply a dream come true for him and he will leave no stone unturned in grabbing the opportunity with both hands to make it to the final team.
Shubam has scored a total of 966 runs so far in the current season, with over 500 runs in the ongoing Cooch Behar 4-day matches while representing J&K, including a double ton (214), marathon 150 and 81 runs, while in Under-19 One-Day format this season, Shubam scored a total of 340 runs, which included one century and 3 half-centuries. Apart from this, Shubam scored 120 runs in the 4 matches of Under-19 Inter-Zone while representing North Zone, with 47 being his highest against West Zone.
