JAMMU, Nov 21: Sub-Inspector of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Rashid Ahmed Chowdhary has been nominated Referee for the Senior and Veterans Fencing Commonwealth Championship that is going to be held at Canberra (Australia) between 22 to 28 November.
It is pertinent to mention here that he is the only World Fencing Federation B” Grade Fencing Referee who qualified the Referee Exams. Rashid is recipient of State Award, Sher- i-Kashmir Award and Director General of Police Medal for outstanding contribution in the field of Sports.
