POONCH, Sept 26: State Investigation Agency (SIA) today attached the land of an accused absconding in a narco-terror case, from Dara Bagyal area of Poonch district.
Official sources said that the land measuring 10 marlas and 2 sarsai, falling under Khasra number 398 in Dara Bagyal area of tehsil Haveli, belonging to absconding accused, wanted under FIR number 69/2023, and identified as Mohd Arshad alias Asif, son of Mohd Rashid, in narco terrorism case, stands attached.
The action was taken by SIA on the directions of Principal District Sessions Judge Poonch under section 83 CrPC.
It is pertinent to mention here that authorities have taken many such actions in recent past by attaching properties of absconding accused in narco-terror cases.
