SIE holds 5-day orientation prog

JAMMU, Oct 11:  State Institute of Education, (SIE) Jammu organized a five-day orientation programme/workshop on teaching of science at secondary level at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Miran Sahib, which concluded today.
On the valedictory function, O P Bhagat was the chief guest, who while interacting with the participants emphasized the need of such training to update the knowledge of teaching community by  providing latest pedagogical approaches in teaching of science.
Ashok Sharma coordinated the programme and Sarita Anand, field advisor, Madan Gopal, Puneet Thukral and Rajinder Kumar, research officers acted as resource persons in the  programme. Surinder Kumar Gupta and Archana Khanna, research officer provided the technical support.
Other present were Ravi Dubey, Mangal Dev and Janak Raj, Principal Government Girls Higher School, Miran Sahib.
