JAMMU, May 15: A strong resentment is brewing among the inhabitants of village Sieya Sunderbani against PDD which has failed to provide electricity to the village for the last one month.
Non-supply of the power in the village for last one month is causing inconvenience to the inhabitants besides affecting the studies of the students.
Though a deputation led by Krishan Lal approached to the concerned department at Sunderbani and Rajouri for restoration of the power supply but nothing was done in this regard despite number of requests and memorandums.
The villagers have urged the higher authorities to intervene and restore the power supply at the earliest otherwise they will be forced to adopt the path of agitation.
