JAMMU, Aug 26: Chief Executive Officer (CEO), SMVDSB, Simrandeep Singh honoured National Speedball players and their coach, Sunny Nanda in an impressive function at Kalika Dham, here today.
The players were honoured for securing 2nd place in the 11th National Speedball Tournament held at Delhi, recently.
Out of 40 players from J&K, who participated in the tournament, 30 players won 10 gold, 8 silver and 12 bronze medals.
The function was organized By J&K Sports Speedball Association.
While Simrandeep was the chief guest on the occasion, Deputy CEO, Dr Arvind Karwani was the special guest.
Prominent among other guests present on the occasion were Tarun Uppal, National Core Committee Member Anna Hazare Movement, Ravi Tikku, President JKSBA V.K Sharma Chief Advisor JKSBA and Anil Nanda, Event Director JKSBA.
