JAMMU, Mar 22: Simula Cricket Club registered convincing win over KC Sports Club in the ongoing 2nd Christmas T20 Cricket Cup, being organized jointly by Range Police Headquarters Jammu and Christian Sports Organization J&K at KC Sports Club ground, here.
Earlier, batting first, KC Sports Club made a modest total of 135 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Parveen Singh scored 32 runs in 28 balls, while Sandeep contributed unbeaten 26 runs in 24 balls. Raman Dutta and Vishwajeet Singh scored 20 and 17 runs respectively. Dhruv Mahajan took 2 wickets, while Hilal Rather, Samer Khajuria and Hardeep Singh shared 1 wicket each for Simula.
In reply, Simula chased the target in 18.3 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. Dhruv Mahajan scored unbeaten 38 runs, while Gulzar contributed unbeaten 35 runs and Hardeep Singh chipped in with 16 runs. Rahil Singh, Vishwajeet Singh, Parveen Singh and Arjun Choudhary shared 1 wicket each for KC Sports Club. Gulzar of Simula Club was adjudged man of the match.
