JAMMU, June 10: Outplaying their rivals convincingly in the semifinals today, Simula Cricket Club and KCCC entered into the finals of the ongoing Simula T20 Super League and will lock horns with each other at GGM Science College Hostel Ground here tomorrow.
Earlier, in first semifinal Simula Cricket Club defeated National Cricket Club (NCC) by 6 wickets.
Batting first, NCC bundled out for a paltry total of 93 runs. Manish Dogra (17), Ankush (15) and Amritpal Singh (13) were the main contributors.
For Simula Hardeep Singh took 3 wickets, Ritik bagged 2, while Manzoor Dar, Raman Dutta and Satish claimed 1 wicket each.
Simula Cricket Club, in reply achieved the target in 17 overs for the loss of 4 wickets, thus won the match by 6 wickets. Anshuman (31), Shashi (25) and Satish (18) were the main contributors.
Vajay Dogra and Inderjeet Singh took 2 wickets each for NCC. Hardeep Singh was adjudged as the man of the match..
In another semifinal, KCCC defeated JCC by 20 runs.
Batting first, KCCC scored 171 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Jatin Wadhawan (47), Ramdayal (37), Suryansh Raina (28) and skipper Manik Gupta (26) were the main scorers.
From JCC, Vivek took 2 wickets, while Vishwajeet Singh and Deepak Dogra claimed 1 wicket each.
JCC, in reply, scored 151 runs and lost the match by 20 runs. Shubam Pundir (53), Vishwajeet (15) and Rohan Koul (15) were the main scorers.
From KCCC, Ankush Bandral took 3 wickets, while Ram Dayal and Manik Gupta claimed 2 wickets each. Bandeep Singh and Akash also claimed 1 wicket each. Ramdayal was adjudged as man of the match.
The final match between Simula and KCCC will be played at 12.30 pm.
