JAMMU, Mar 3: Singh Cricket Club (Singh CC) Akhnoor trounced ICC Sidhra in first match of 3-T20 Series, being played at Khel Gaon Nagrota, near here today.
Singh CC won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, ICC Sidhra scored 110 by losing all wickets in 18.2 overs, wherein Abhishek Jamwal made 24 runs, while Gourav Jamwal and Suhail Qasim contributed 21 and 15 runs respectively. From the bowling side, SS Langeh, Binny Kesar, Nikhil Jamwal and Sumit Pandit shared 2 wickets each and Robin Verma got 1wicket.
In reply, Singh CC chased the set target by losing only 5 wickets in 13.3 overs and registered 5 wickets win over the opponents. Bhupinder Singh made 53 runs while Robin Sharma scored 41 runs and Rahul Sharma contributed 8 runs. From the bowling side, Tayyab Farooq got 2 wickets, whereas Imtiaz Malik, Ishfaq Lone and Abhishek Jamwal shared 1wicket each.
Bhupinder Singh was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance. The 3-T20 matches Series is being organized by ICC Sidhra.
