JAMMU, Nov 25: Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor defeated Large Sharif Srinagar by 4 wickets and entered in the semi-final of ongoing ‘Crick Jammu-2022 Season-1’ organised at Country Cricket Stadium Gharota, here today.
Large Sharif Srinagar won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first, Large Sharif scored 139/10 in stipulated 20 overs wherein Inayat made 45 runs, while Isharat and Tahir scored 28 & 17 runs respectively. Sahil contributed 14 runs. From the bowling side, Sumit Pandit got 5 wickets, while Sham Singh Langeh took 3 wickets and Abhinandan bagged 1 wicket.
In reply, Singh CC chased the set score by losing 6 wickets in 14 overs and registered an emphatic 4 wickets win over their opponents. Rahul Sharma made 61 runs, while Rahul Manni and Arush Jamwal scored 20 and 16 runs respectively and Robin Verma contributed 13 runs. From the bowling side, Sahil got 3 wickets, while Aadil clinched 2 wickets and Sahil took 1 wicket.
Sumit Pandit was declared as man of the match.
Dayal Singh and Girdhari Lal acted as umpires and Rajja was a scorer.
