JAMMU, Jan 1: Singh Cricket Club got better of Evershine Cricket Club in a thrilling contest via super-over in the ongoing 3rd Jammu Tawi Premier T20 Cricket Tournament at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Batting first, Evershine Club scored a decent total of 142 runs in 20 overs, losing 5 wickets in the process. Sahil top scored with 38 runs, while Sachin and Bunty contributed 20 and 14 runs to the total respectively. Lovely took 2 wickets for Singh Club, while Happy and Pardeep claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Singh CC also scored 142 runs in 18.1 overs, thus the match ended in a tie and the match was decided via super-over. Anil, Rahul and Binny contributed 26, 20 and 17 runs to the total respectively. For Evershine Club, Vicky took 4 wickets, while Hushiyar and Narender claimed 2 wickets each. Anil of Singh Cricket Club was adjudged as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Rajinder Singh and Sandeep Manchanda as umpires, while Vinod Kandyara was the scorer.
In tomorrow’s fixture, New Challenger will take on J&K Police at 9 am, while JCC will take on YSCC Bhaderwah at 12:30 pm.
