Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor beats Rising Star Jammu by 61 runs

JAMMU, June 28: Singh Cricket Club defeated Rising Star Jammu by 61 runs in the opening match of the three matches, T20 Cricket series organised by Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor here today.
The tournament was organised at Government Higher Secondary School Akhnoor. After winning the toss, Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor decided to bat first and scored 161/9 in stipulated 20 overs.
Deepak Sharma scored 42(32), Rahul Mulan 33(27), Chandan Sharma 24(17) and Sonu Manhas 18(18) were the highest scorers for their team. Aditya took 4 wickets; Vyom took 3 wickets while Ansh Sharma got 1 wicket for Rising Star Jammu.
In reply, Rising Star Jammu team was all out at 100/10 in 17 overs. Yogesh scored 27(23) and Sahil 19(8) for their team. Surya Dev Singh got 4 wickets and Rajinder Sharma took 3 wickets for Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor. Rajinder Sharma was declared as man of the match for his brilliant performance.
The T-20 Matches series has been organized by Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor under the overall supervision of Sham Singh Langeh (President Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor).
