Singh Cricket Club registers 21 runs win over DCC

JAMMU, June 30: Singh Cricket Club (SCC) defeated Daskal Cricket Club (DCC) by 21 runs and sailed into the semis of the ongoing JKCA Premier Cricket Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association at GGM Science College ground, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, SCC made 117 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 12 overs. Manik played a splendid inning of 46 runs off 26 balls, while Chandan and Sumit scored 23 and 19 runs respectively.
For DCC, Sindi scalped 3 wickets by giving 23 runs, while Pardeep took 2 wickets.
In reply, DCC failed to chase the target and made 96 runs by losing 9 wickets in 12 overs, thus lost the match by 21 runs.
For SCC, Balla took 3 wickers by giving just 4 runs, while Pankaj scalped 2 wickets.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Rahul Kumar as umpires, while Saleem-ur-Rehman maintained the scoreboard.
