JAMMU, Oct 30: Defeating Bikram Club in a close contest by two goals to one in the semifinals, Singh Pora Club entered the finals of the Senior District Hockey Championship of Baramulla district, being organized by Hockey J&K at Showkat Stadium in Baramulla.
Earlier, Bikram Club scored the first goal via penalty corner through Vikramjit Singh in 18th minute of the match. However, Singh Pora Club came back strongly to score back to back goals in 26th and 53rd minute of the match and the goal scorers were Rafiq Dada and Ali Mohd.
Now Singh Pora Club will take on Surjit Club Baramulla in the finals to be held on November 1, 2013 at the afore mentioned venue.
The match was officiated by Avtar Singh, Sumeet Singh and Maninder Singh.
