Will undergo Masters of Public Health course

JAMMU, June 7: Dr Piyush Singla, an IAS officer of 2012 batch of Jammu and Kashmir cadre, now AGMUT, has been granted scholarship by prestigious Johns Hopkins University Baltimore, Maryland in the United States of America (USA) for undergoing Masters of Public Health.
Dr Singla, who was posted as Administrative Secretary School Education Department, will be proceeding to the United States in next few days. He relinquished charge of the School Education Department today.
Dr Singla is MBBS Graduate and will study Public Health in the prestigious University.
He had served as Additional CEO Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Deputy Commissioner of Udhampur, Ganderbal and Anantnag districts, Secretary General Administration Department (GAD), Revenue and School Education.
He has been recipient of Prime Minister’s Award for Public Services, National e-Governance Award and National Water Award.
Johns Hopkins University is home to nine world class academic division working together as one University.
