Six injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Oct 17: Police today said six persons were injured in different road accidents across Valley.
A police spokesman said an unidentified vehicle hit a pedestrian identified as Farooq Ahmed Lasoo at Ashtangoo in Budgam district. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment, he said, adding that a case has been registered in this regard.
The spokesman said two persons were injured after they fell from a moving Tata Mobile at Frestwar in Arampora. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
The police spokesman said a Santro car bearing registration number JK03A/6375 hit two pedestrians identified as Ashia Begum and Shabir Ahmed Bhat at Watlar in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
The police spokesman said an Xcent vehicle hit and injure a pedestrian identified as Reyaz Ahmed Malik at Hirri in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
