JAMMU, Apr 17: The Award and Honour Committee of Roller Athlete Skating Club, Jindrah today announced this year’s Prof Kuldeep Singh Jandrahia Memorial Scholarship in favour of Puneesh Puri for excellence in skating.
Puneesh is a talented youngest speed skating champion of J&K Union Territory.
The scholarship carries a cash prize of Rs 5,100 and a trophy.
It is for the first time in the history of the roller skating that such type of scholarship has been initiated, which will certainly boost the morale of the players. The Committee also announced that it will be an annual feature in the calendar of the activities of the club.
