Jammu, Nov 28: President, J&K Roller Skating Association, J&K G.S. Khurmi today inaugurated the State Skating Championship at Peerkho amidst thunderous applause from the participating players.
Addressing the participants after inaugural function, Mr Khurmi exhorted the participants to exhibit high degree of sportsmanship during the championship and imbibe discipline in the game besides good luck to the participants.
On the occasion. Parbhat Aggarwal presented bouquets to the chief guest G.S.Khurmi and dwelt on length the achievements of the JKRSA besides introducing the players. P.P. Singh & Roshan Gupta were also present on the occasion.
P.P.Singh informed the participating players that the trial for the national games will also be simultaneously taken during the ongoing championship.
About 250 players are participating in the State championship.
