JAMMU; Nov 3: Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council (JKSC) organised Skating events under “My Youth My Pride” initiative at Skating Rink, MA Stadium, here today.
chief guest on the occasion was Shilpa Gupta, Trustee, SP Smart Higher Secondary School, while Rajeev Sharma, Member, Sports Council was the guest of honour of the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest applauded the efforts of the Government and Sports Council for providing the best facilities and opportunities to the youth at the grass route level in almost across sports disciplines in all districts of Jammu & Kashmir under ‘My Youth My Pride’ programme.
She also interacted with the skaters and coaches and lauded their efforts in organising sports activities in all the sports disciplines. The sports activities are being conducted under the overall supervision of Nuzhat Gul, Secretary Sports Council, while Satish Gupta Manager MA Stadium Jammu was the coordinator of this event.
Prominent among those present on the occasion include SP Singh, Manager MA Stadium, Vinay, Handball Coach, Khajuria and Krish Gupta Skating coaches besides a massive gathering of parents thronged the Stadium to be part of the sports initiative.
