Anantnag, Apr 2: Sharief Chouhan (SP) continuing its efforts of fostering good relations between public and the organisation IR 12th Bn had organised T 20 cricket at playground DPL Anantnag under CAP 2017.Total 8 teams participated in the event on knockout basis and final was played today between South Kashmir cricket Club Ashmuji and IR 12th. SKCC Ashmuji won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first SKCC Ashmuji put on board 89 runs and gave target of 90 runs for IR 12th IR 12th in response were bundled out for 60 runs.
SKCC Ashmuji thus emerged victorious. The event was graced by the presence of Shri S.P. Pani IPS. Who attended the event as chief guest and SSP Anantnag was guest of honour. Speaking on the occasion M.S.Chouhan SSP CO IR 12th Bn thanked the audience, players ground staff and district police for making the event a success. CO also thanked the cheif guest and guest of honour for gracing the occasion by their presence despite of their busy schedule. The event concluded with Ashmuji SKCC lifting the trophy with joy and enthusiasm. Other officers who were present on the occasion include Rakesh Kumar Dy.CO IR 12th Aaftab Sheikh Adjutant IR 12th, Ashfaq Aalam DySP DAR Anantnag and Hamid Ali Banday Nodal Officer for Sports.
