SKIMS conducts prog for nurses

SRINAGAR, July 8: Madr-e-Mehrban College of Nursing, SKIMS, today conducted a Continued Nursing Education (CNS) programme on application of nursing theories in education, research and practice that aims to create awareness and bring in focus changing trends in nursing education.
A statement of the tertiary health institute said the Director SKIMS Dr. Showkat Zaragar appreciated nursing college faculty for their continuous efforts. “The college has made a marked change from past one decade. It will excel as an institution and become laboratory for learning and will set an example in nursing education in the state,” Zargar said.
Zargar, while stressing on adoption of research and innovative techniques, said, “there is tremendous change in approach in nursing education at global level and gradation of knowledge to keep pace with new advances has become significant for each of us. He assured all financial help to the faculty to organize more such educative programs in future.”
