SKS delegation submits memorandum to Union Home Ministry

NEW DELHI, Oct 22:  A delegation of Sampooran Kashmiri Sangathan (SKS) called on Joint Secretary Home Ministry incharge Kashmir Affairs in Union Capital and submitted a memorandum to him highlighting various problems of the displaced Pandits from Valley.
The delegation comprising of Anoop Kaul its chairman and Rakesh Kaul president SKS demanded that the rehabilitation of Pandits be taken on priority basis as the community has suffered a lot during 26 year long exile.
The memorandum demanded setting up of Truth and Reconciliation  Commission on the pattern of South Africa, CBI inquiry to probe that which forces were responsible for the exodus of Pandits, more facilities to employees working under PM package in Valley, especially ladies, employment to community youth with implementation of PM package in letter and spirit, employment or job avenues for over aged youth, compensation to displaced traders, regularization of migrant teachers working in Delhi government, passage of Kashmiri Hindus Shrines and Temples Bill and pristine glory of Hindu religious places be restored in Valley, one time relief package to all Kashmiri migrants till their return to Valley and initiating of people to people contact programme.
Later in a statement the SKS president and chairman informed the press that the organization will launch a jail Baro movement in case their demands do not get any response from the Government.
