JAMMU, Aug 17: Extending full moral support to Jammu and Kashmir Agricultural Technocrats Association (JKATA), Teaching Association SKUAST-Jammu has demanded immediate absorption of all ReZs as Village Agricultural Extension Assistants (VAEA) in the Agricultural Department.
“These Agricultural Technocrats possess higher qualification like MSc (Ag), Ph D (Ag) etc and while serving to the State Government on stipendiary basis for the last seven years, they have already suffered a lot so there should be no more queries and State Government should issue order by immediately releasing list of regularized candidates as done by Director, Agriculture Production Department of Kashmir Division”, stressed SKUAST-TAJ president Dr Vikas Sharma while chairing a meeting of the Teachers Association.
He also extended full support to the Insaaf Rally pf REZ tomorrow.
Dr Vivak M Arya, general secretary of SKUAST-TAJ, said that State Government issued various orders related to the services of ReZs but could not issued even a single order for the regularization of these aggrieved agricultural technocrats.
Those who attended the meeting included Dr P K Rai, Dr Devinder Sharma, Dr Rajeev Bharat, Dr Poonam Parihaar, Dr Vinod Gupta. Dr Mahital Jamwal and others.
