Sky High Organisation conducts Chess Tourney

JAMMU, Mar 11: A Chess Extravaganza was organized at VT Residency Hotel and Restaurant in Bangalore, Karnataka, today.
The event was organized by Sky High India Social Organisation in support of official sponsors Computer Point Technologies (J&K), RSCET (Research & Studies in Communication Education Technology Ltd.), Champions Academy J&K.
Special Chess Extravaganza event was organized for the people of Jammu & Kashmir who are residing in Bangalore and adjoining areas.
As many as 20 chess players participated in the event and four participants who managed to enter semifinals included Vikas Bakshi, Azad Ahmad, Tariq Ahmad Wani and Sandeep Singh Danoo.
After neck to neck fight, Sandeep Danoo and Tariq Ahmad Wani managed to reach at final.
In final match a tough neck to neck fight was displayed by both players, however, Tariq Ahmad Wani proved stronger and claimed Sky High India Southern Champion title.
The match was officiated by Aman Kalsotra, special guest, Director Sky High India Social Organisation and Vijay Kumar, Official VT Residency who was also the chief guest on the occasion.
