JAMMU, Nov 24: SL Memorial Model High School celebrated annual function with pomp and show, here today.
Swami Bodha Sarananda, Associate Secretary Rama Krishna Mission, Belore Matth, Kolkata was the chief guest, while Surender Ambardar, Member Legislative Council (MLC) presided over the function and Swami Ekarthananda, Assistant Secretary Ramakrishna Mission Udeywala Jammu, was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest laid stress on the moral education and character building of students, while Mr Ambardar in his address lauded the School Management for the overall development of the students.
The chief guest and the other dignitaries felicitated position holders Nitin Pandita and Sanchit Dass, who had secured second and 11th positions respectively in the10th c-lass board examinations.
They also presented scholarship cheques of Brij Lal Memorial Scholarship for excellence in academics and awards to the students for taking part in various sports activities.
Variety of cultural items were presented by the students, which enthralled the audience.
Dr. Tej Kaul, Sole Trustee S L Memorial Trust presented the vote of thanks.
