Srinagar, May 1: Prof. Rasmita Das Swain, Chairperson, Management Committee, J&K Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA) and J&K Police Public Schools inaugurated smart classes and reception centre at the Police Public School Bemina today in the presence of Administrative Officer Sujit Kumar Singh DIG CID Kashmir, and Principal PPS Snigdha Singh.
PWWA members Eva Rayees, Pragati Pandey, Mehak Chakravarty, Sahar Zamil, Imtiyaz Ahmad SP (West), Shabeera Shabnum, Headmistress and all the staff of PPS, Bemina, Srinagar was also present on this occasion.The Chairperson also dedicated three new school buses to the school and distributed 40 school kits to the wards of fallen heros of Jammu and Kashmir.The occasion was also celebrated as the graduation ceremony of kids of KG wing.
The chairperson lauded the role of fallen heros of Jammu and Kashmir Police and assured that school shall always take care of their wards .She had a review of the school ‘s functioning and its infrastructure. She emphasised on improvement in education level by adding quality teachers and advanced learning resolve of the school to provide quality education to the wards of police and public of Jammu and Kashmir. She assured to look into the demands of new projects like girls hostel, developed sports facility and high quality labs for the school.
On this occasion the chairperson also congratulated the parents of graduated kids and all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the school for results and performance.
While addressing the gathering the chairperson assured all the participants that school shall keep organising such events in future as well. She advised the teachers to fulfil the academic commitments at every cost.
