SMVDNSH holds multi-speciality camp at Sainik Colony Gurudwara

JAMMU, Dec 23: In its constant endeavor to improve and provide comprehensive medical services in Jammu province, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital organized a one day multispecialty camp at Sri Gurudwara Singh Sabha Sainik Colony Jammu, in association with Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee.
Dr Neeraj Mahajan-Cardiologist, Dr Vikas Padha-Ortho Surgeon, Dr Renu Sharma-Gynaecologist and Dr Shally Kandhari- Ophthalmologist, provided their services in the camp. About 300 plus patients were examined and treated for their various ailments. A rare diagnostic facility called mammography was provided free of cost at camp and 12 mammograms were carried out. Beside this 20 on the spot X-Rays and other lab tests were also performed.
Dr (Brig) Man Mohan Harjai, Chief Administrative Officer of SMVDNSH, who was chief guest on the occasion, said that organizing of such camps at various localities gives opportunity to the patients to interact with concerned super specialists directly for their treatment. He also informed that this hospital is now being approved for empanelment with Ex-Serviceman Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS).
