SRINAGAR, Aug 5: The 28th Srinagar District Billiards and Snooker Championship is underway at Snooker Academy Rajbagh, here today.
On day second, the results of senior category Snooker matches were Erhaam Mir defeated Suhail Afzal by 62-22, 35-59, 79-32, Umer Mushtaq defeated Adil Farooq by 49-29, 34-64, 48-39, Haris Handa defeated Kamran Gulzar by 32-40, 47-38, 42-19 and Mujeeb Tramboo defeated Burhan Shakeel by 56-55, 51-41.
The district championship has been organized by J&K Billiards and Snooker Association under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council after the gap of four years in Srinagar under the supervision of Umer Himayun, Vice-President (Kashmir), Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association.
