JAMMU, Sept 25: To pick the team for North Zone (Men & Women) Softball Championship to be held at Chandigarh from October 8 to October 10, 2014, the Jammu and Kashmir Softball Association is holding selection trials on September 28 and 29, 2014 at GGM Science College ground here.
According to a handout issued here, the Association has invited the registered players to participate in the trials, however, those players who have yet to register with the Association have been asked to register themselves by or before September 27, 2014.
The selection trials will be followed by coaching camp from September 30, 2014.
Meanwhile, general secretary Jammu and Kashmir Softball Association, Chaman Lal Bhat has also informed that Junior National Softball Championship will be held in the last week of October, 2014.
In this connection, the Association has advised budding softball players to register with it by or before October 10, 2014.
“Players who fail to register themselves with the Association will not be allowed to participate in any official activity, not to talk of the Nationals,” added Mr Bhat.
