POONCH, Dec 6: An Army soldier today died after cardiac arrest at a post near the Line of Control in Mendhar sub sector of Poonch this morning.
Official sources said that L/Nk Roshan Lal of 21 Punjab, was deployed at a forward post in this sector. He collapsed there and was rushed to the nearby unit hospital by other soldiers where he was declared as dead. The doctors later told that he died of heart attack. His body was later sent to his home village in district Hoshiarpur (Punjab).
