JAMMU, Mar 26: SOS Hermann Gmeiner School celebrated Annual Sports Day with enthusiasm and zeal.
On the occasion, Principal of the school, RK Dhar, was the chief guest, who declared the sports meet open in presence of Ramesh Bhat, PET, faculty members and students.
Vice head girl of the school, presented the welcome address.
Various sports activities were organized on the occasion including 100 m, 200 m and 400 m races, long and high jumps, discus throw, short put, javelin throw, etc under different age categories.
Students also presented cultural items and mesmerized the audience with their commendable performance.
While speaking, Principal asked the students to participate in the sports activities to keep their body mentally and physically fit.
Later, principal gave away certificates and medals to the winners.
The sports meet was coordinated by Surinder Wali, HoD Sports, Sunita Raina, PET and Rekha Koul, Activity Coordinator.
