Sahai inaugurates Sanda Cup Wushu C’ship
JAMMU, Dec 17: SOS HGS, Jammu celebrated its Annual Sports Day in the school premises with great zeal and fervour here today.
The programme began with the lighting lamp ceremony by Principal R K. Dhar. The students presented cultural programme on the occasion. The students of different classes participated in various sports events like 100 mtr, 200 mtr, 400 mtr, 800 mtr, 1500 mtr, races long jump, short put, discus throw were organized in which students participated with great enthusiasm.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal urged upon the students to participate in all the activities of the school and said that sports play a pivotal role for the overall development of the body. Later, the Principal gave away prizes to winners. The programme came to an end with the singing of National anthem.
