JAMMU, May 10: Investiture ceremony was held at SOS Hermann Gmeiner School, Gole Gujral, here today.
Elected Group Captain, Vice Group Captain and Prefects from Chenab, Jehlum, Ravi and Tawi House took oath on the occasion.
Dr Usha Kher Tickoo, DTI Traffic, Jammu was the chief guest.
The programme began with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest which was followed by welcome address by R K Dhar, Principal of the School.
Dr Tickoo and Mr Dhar honoured the elected students by presenting them badges.
In her address, Dr Usha Kher Tickoo stressed upon the elected students that they have to shoulder the responsibility for which they have been elected.
Mr Dhar administrated the oath and wished a good session for each House in cultural and allied activities.
Sachit Bhat and Sapna Gupta were elected Head boy and Head girl of the School respectively, while Bavneet Singh and Antra Kaw were elected as Vice Head boy and girl respectively.
An impressive cultural programme was also held on the occasion.
