Former team India Captain and Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) Joint Secretary Sourav Ganguly was included in Advisory Committee for the 125th year Celebration of Mohun Bagan Athletic Club. The Celebration Committee of Mohun Bagan Athletic Club held a meeting yesterday which was attended by Club Chairman Subrata Mukherjee, president Swapan Sadhan Bose, Mr Radheshyam Agarwal, Mr Srinjoy Bose, Mr Madan Mohan Dutta, Mr Debashis Dutta, and Mr Atin Ghosh.
It was decided in the meeting that year long events and activities will be held to celebrate the 125th year of the Club during which a souvenir will also be released.
An Advisory Committee comprising of ex-players of the Club was also formed to advise the Celebration Committee. The members of the Advisory Committee are Padma Shri Chuni Goswami, Padma Shri Sourav Ganguly, Arjuna Awardee Prasun Banerjee, Dr Vece Paes, Satyajit Chatterjee and Manoranjan Porel.
The Celebration Committee and the Advisory Committee would meet next week at the Club Tent to discuss further. (AGENCIES)
