SP College holds Inter-Collegiate Debate contest

SRINAGAR, July 3: Minister for Higher Education, Mohammad Akbar Lone today stressed upon the students to adapt and use the E-Communication system in appropriate manner and take maximum benefit from it without wasting precious time superfluously besides spare time for human values and relations.
Lone emphasized upon the faculty members of the college to deliver their best to the students and exploit talent and experience by adapting modern teaching techniques and methods so that hidden talent of students is given appropriate platform to exhibit.
The Minister was addressing in an Inter-College Debate on the topic “E-communication has actually divided family ties” held at Sri Pratab College here today.
Among others Principal Secretary to Higher Education Department, KB Agarwal, Director Colleges, Nalini Kohli, Columnist ZG Mohammad, Principal SP College, Dr Yaseen Ahmad Shah and Principals from various colleges of the Valley, besides participants and large number of students were present on the occasion.
The Minister said that Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah is very much keen for the upliftment and upgradation of the education scenario of the State which is ingredient for producing better society and prosper State.
He said nobody can neglect or oversight the importance of E-Communication in present era but it should be used in positive manner which plays pivotal role for the prosperous society.
Lone lauded the contribution of the SP College in producing galaxy of luminaries to the State.
