JAMMU, Mar 18: Holding special status responsible for entire all problems in the state and as a main cause of over 23 year long turmoil, VHP today reiterated its demand regarding abrogation of Article 370 giving special Constitutional position to the state.
“The crisis in the state will automatically end with the abrogation of Article 370” VHP state Dr Rama Kant Dubey told reporters here today.
He said there is no problem in any state of the country except J&K which was given a special constitutional position by the rulers of the country.
He said when there is no problem to 15 crore Muslims in India why problem is only in J&K.
Granting of special status to J&K tantamount to creation of a state within state, he said and added that in no other state there exists a separate flag or separate Constitution as in J&K.
Dr Dubey also expressed concern over the role of some parties in the Assembly on Guru issue and demanded that the State Assembly be dissolved.
He also said that why Indian Parliament is always declaring J&K an integral part of India as it will not serve any purpose. Instead the GoI should take tough stance against Pakistan and stop parlays with it, he added.
