SRINAGAR, July 30: The Special Summer Kabaddi Camp, organized by the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association and the J&K Sports Council under the ‘My Youth My Pride’ initiative, concluded at SKISC, here today. Secretary J&K Sports Council, Nuzhat Gul, served as the chief guest, expressing satisfaction with the camp’s outcomes. She stated, “We are proud of the progress made by the players and look forward to seeing them excel in future competitions.” Gull also distributed certificates to the players.
Divisional Sports Officers Nusrat Gazala (Kashmir) and Javid Ur Rehman (Central) praised the players’ dedication and enthusiasm, calling the camp a resounding success and reaffirming their commitment to developing Kabaddi talent in the region. The event saw the presence of Gulzar Ahmad, Secretary of the Amateur Kabaddi Association Srinagar, Nazir Ahmad, Secretary of the Kabaddi Association Budgam, and Secretary of the Kabaddi Association Ganderbal, all of whom congratulated the players, coaches, and organizers on the camp’s success.
Chief Coach Anil Sharma, Assistant Coach Firdous Rather, and Fitness Trainer Arshid Rather (J&K Police) conducted sessions focused on technical skills, physical conditioning, and tactical awareness. The camp provided personalized attention, guidance, and mentorship to each player, fostering a competitive spirit, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Players showed significant improvement in their skills and performance and hope for similar camps in the future.
