KATHUA, Oct 22: Open District Speedball Championship organized by J&K Sports Speedball Association at Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua concluded here today.
Around 200 players from various schools of Kathua participated in the championship in which Jammu Sanskriti School won overall champion trophy while DPS Kathua remained 1st runner- up and Kartar Public School remained 2nd runner-up. All the winners are selected for the 14th State Speed Ball Championship scheduled to be held at Jammu on November 9.
The chief guest on this occasion was Manjeet Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySp) Headquarters, Mili-R- Sumbria, Principal Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua was the guest of honour. The event was hosted by Sahil Janjua (District Kathua Coach).
The matches were officiated by Ankit Sharma, Amar Kushal, Jagdeep Janjua, Gurvansh Choudhary, Yogant Jamwal under the supervision of event organizer Sunny Nanda (General Secretary J&K Sports Speedball Association).
