SRINAGAR, Nov 30: Dr SP Vaid, Special Director General of Police Law and Order and Coordination paid surprise visit to two city Police Stations this evening.
He drove to Police Stations of Khanyar in the downtown and Karan Nagar where he inspected different sections of these Police Stations.
Dr Vaid inspected the Roznamcha, CCTNS and other sections and sought feedback from the concerned SHOs and the staff deputed in these sections. During his interaction with the police personnel and the officers, Dr Vaid was briefed about the crime situation and its disposal, law and order and the measures taken by these Police Stations.
In his address, Dr Vaid directed that the renovation of the buildings should be taken in hand. He also visited the jawans barracks and directed the officers to undertake repairs and renovation where ever necessary.
Besides the jurisdictional officers the Special DG was also accompanied by IGP Kashmir SJM Gillani and SSP Srinagar Amit Kumar.
