JAMMU, Feb 3: Govt. SPMR College of Commerce lifted the men Handball inter-collegiate trophy, organized by Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) at Govt. College for Women Gandhi Nagar, here today.
Dr. Minu Mahajan, Principal GCW Gandhi Nagar was the chief guest and Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator CLUJ and Physical Director GGM Science College was the guest of honor during the occasion.
The tournament was organized under the supervision of Dr Roopali Slathia, Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu and under overall supervision of Dr Vinod Bakshi Sports Coordinator, CLUJ.
The final match was played between Govt. MAM College and Govt. SPMR College of Commerce in which Govt College of Commerce won the match by 23-19. The match was decided in extra time. Before extra time both the teams were playing with a score of 19 each.
Dr. Yash Paul Sharma, Prof. Varun Sharma, Eisha Gohil, Dr. Shafkat Jahangir, Aijaz Malik, Physical Director Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, Neenu Sawheny, Physical Director Govt. MAM College, Neelam Chalotra, Assistant Physical Director Govt. MAM College were among the various dignitaries were present during the occasion.
The match was officiated by Happy Mehra, Bachan Lal, Jyoti Sharma, Anju Sharma, Poonam Rajput and Sulekha.
