SPMR College of Commerce organizes Career Counseling Session

JAMMU, Mar 9: The Unit of Life Long Learning of Government SPMR College of Commerce in collaboration with Centre for Life Long Learning, University of Jammu, organized one day Career Counseling Session in the area of Banking, Management and Travel Tourism.
Prof J L Bhagat, Principal of the College said that the students should use this opportunity to decide which sector they should enter for job.
While encouraging the students to enquire in detail about these two sectors, he promised them that the career counseling lectures adopted as a continuous process will be held regularly in the College.
Prof Archana Kaul, Convener, Unit of Life Long Learning presented welcome address. Smriti Gupta from banking sector was the resource person, who talked about different ways the students can prepare themselves to enter the banking sector.
Manjeet Singh working as Area Sales Manager for Travel Boutique online gave a very refreshing lecture to students about tourism business and spoke at length about the scope of tourism as job.
Students actively participated in the question-answer session.
Vote of thanks was presented by Prof Rekha Gupta. Faculty members Prof. Bharti Slathia, Prof Kawaljeet, Prof Reeta Menia and Prof Sanjay Singh were also present during the sessions.
