JAMMU, Feb 25: Defeating GGM Science College convincingly in the summit clash,
SPMR College of Commerce lifted the title trophy of Intra-Zone (A) Hockey Men Tournament at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here today.
Both the teams scored one goal each in the stipulated time and the match was decided via tie-breaker, wherein SPMR College of Commerce got the better of GGM Science College by five goals to two (5-2).
The match was officiated by Amarjeet Singh, Angat Singh and Jagjit Singh.
Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator of Cluster University, Jammu and Physical Director of GGM Science College was the special guest on the occasion, while Aijaz Malik, Physical Director of SPMR College of Commerce; Prof Jagjit Singh, Ashok Singh, Varinder Sharma and Pawan Giri, Assistant Physical Director of GGM Science college were present on the occasion.
