JAMMU, Dec 27: NSS Unit and Shikshit Bharat Committee of Government SPMR College of Commerce organized a thought-provoking symposium titled “Viksit Bharat@2047” and “Gandhian Thoughts”.
The symposium provided a platform for students, faculty and guests to engage in profound discussions about India’s future trajectory and the timeless wisdom encapsulated in Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings.
The symposium resonated with the vibrant energy of students like Rasneet Kour, Yeasmin Nahar, Sneha and Altaf who passionately shared their innovative ideas and visions for India’s growth and development by 2047. Their active participation added depth and diversity to the discussions, fostering an environment of inclusivity and spirited dialogue.
The event was the outcome of the visionary leadership of Prof Deepshikha, the NSS Programme Officer, whose unwavering commitment to fostering a platform for comprehensive learning and engagement amongst the students, was appreciated by everyone.
Prof Ashu Manhas, Dr Roomi Rani and Heema Gupta enriched the symposium with their invaluable perspectives and expertise in their respective fields. Their contributions further elevated the quality of discourse, sparking illuminating exchanges and insightful conversations.
Principal Dr Surinder Kumar, in his address, emphasized the importance of nurturing a generation of socially responsible and forward-thinking individuals.
