JAMMU, Feb 2: Government SPMR College of Commerce lifted the inter-collegiate power lifting men’s trophy, organised by Cluster University of Jammu, here today.
Dr Surinder Sharma, Principal SPMR College of Commerce was the chief guest and Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator CLUJ and Physical Director GGM Science College Jammu was the guest of honor on the occasion.
The competitions were organized under the supervision of Aijaz Malik, Physical Director, SPMR College of Commerce Jammu.
Govt. SPMR College of Commerce won the trophy by obtaining 28 points (4 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze medals), while GGM Science College remained runner up by obtaining 18 points (2 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze medals) and Govt. MAM College stood 3rd by securing 17 points ( 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 bronze medals) .
Dr Shafkat Jahangir, Dr Roopali Slathia, Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu, Ramandeep Kralia, Physical Director GCOE Jammu and Neenu Sawhney, Physical Director Govt. MAM College Jammu were among dignitaries who were present during the occasion.
The competitions were officiated by Akash Virdhy, Nirbhay Pathania, Rahil Rajput and Himanshu Sharma.
