JAMMU, Oct 15: In a cold blooded murder a SPO was done to death at Billawar late last night.
He has been identified as Himant Kumar of Panther Billawar. Police said that Himant Kumar and Maneer who were dead drunk quarrelled over some issue in front of a wine shop in Billawar later last night. As both were under influence of liquor Maneer lost his temper and he attacked Himant with a big stone and inflicted serious injuries on his person.
The poor fellow fell down on ground in a pool of blood. Later some local people shifted him to Sub District Hospital Billawar where he succumbed to his injuries. The Bani Police has registered a case under FIR Number 101 of 2016 under Section 302/34 and started investigations.
However Maneer fled after the murder and he is still at large. The police has arrested his friend Naresh Kumar and has launched a manhunt to arrest Maneer.
