Sport climbing coaching camp to begin from July 20

JAMMU, July 7: In order to prepare the J&K sport climbing team to regain the North Zone Champions Trophy which J&K last won in 2017, Sprawling Buds ICSE School, Bantalab, Jammu will held 15 days coaching camp cum Sunday Series of Sport Climbing competitions from 20 July 20 to August 4.
Chairman of Sprawling Buds ICSE School Rahul Sharma who is also Patron of Tawi Trekkers J&K held a meeting with Tawi Trekkers J&K and District Mountaineering Association under the chairmanship of Anil Goswami, former Union Home Secretary.
Whereas the camp in which about 40 sport climbers including over 50% girls are expected to attend shall be organised under the overall supervision of Shivani Charak and Arun Deep Singh, both international sport climbers, Vikas Singh, Aradhya Manhas and Saksham shall be the route setters cum Belayers of the camp. Shawetica Khajuria, an international sport climbing judge shall be the observer cum mentor of the team.
