JAMMU, Jan 19: Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council Employees Union staged protest against the curt treatment meted out to the ground staff of the Council by the hands of the authorities.
The protest was held under the chairmanship of Vikram Singh, president of the Union.
They said despite working day-in and day-out, the ground staff employees are at the receiving end and being treated indifferently.
Those who participated in the protest were Rajinder Singh, Vijay Choudhary, Jagdish Kumar, Omkar, Franci Masih and Rajinder Kumar.
