JAMMU, Dec 3: Diocese of Jammu and Srinagar Education Society organized sports events in which 17 Convents Schools participated.
The events were held at St Peter`s Higher Secondary School, Karan Bagh, here.
Minister of State for Youth Services and Sports, Sunil Kumar Sharma was the chief guest on the inaugural ceremony.
Various games like Basketball, Kho- Kho, Volleyball etc were held, besides various races like sac race, hurdle race etc.
The winners of various sports events were felicitated by the chief guest and other dignitaries on the occasion.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Rev. Fr Antony Peppin and Manjeet Singh, SHO Satwari.
