JAMMU, May 27: A week-long sports meet concluded today at Government Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital (GAMCH) Akhnoor under the guidance of the Principal, Prof (Dr) Shashi Sudan Sharma.
To promote co-curricular activities and for the development of mental and physical well being amongst the students, Principal GAMCH Akhnoor organized a week-long sports meet with effect from May 23 to 27 in which interns and students of all Prof GAMC Akhnoor participated.
In the final cricket match between Interns and final Prof held on the concluding day, the Interns won the match from BAMS 2nd Prof with 52 runs. Usman (Intern) was declared as the Best Batter and Basit (3rd Prof) was adjudged as the Best Bowler. Jhangir (Final Prof) was Man of the Match and Man of the Series. The winners were awarded trophies.
The occasion was graced by SDPO Akhnoor, Administrative Officer, Accounts Officer, faculty members, non-teaching staff and hospital staff. All the students were also present.
